Split Case, Double Suction Pumps

Double suction pumps are designed for high flows, and are delivered as bareshaft pumps, or long-coupled, base-mounted pump and motor sets.

Construction:

  • Casings and Impellers in combinations of cast iron and bronze
  • Stainless steel shafts - varying grades for specific liquids
  • Packed gland or mechanical seal

    • Features:

  • Flows in excess of 600 L/S
  • Heads to 100 metres
  • Suit both 50 and 60 Hz electric motor speeds
  • Suction and discharge below the pump centreline allows easy maintenance without disturbing     pipework
